Away from academia, I love to visit new countries in order to learn about their history and culture.

I have been fortunate enough to visit a large number of countries, including Cambodia, China, Jordan, India, Mexico, Peru, and Russia.

I have seen 6 of the New Seven Wonders of the World, as well as the only remaining existing one (the Great Pyramid of Giza).
